Blanche Design is an exciting new venture into the world of exceptional embellished handbags. Offering a creative limited line appealing to the stylish and fashion conscious, Evelyn Blanche Heyward, owner and lead designer, carefully selects from the finest textiles for the creation of her handbags. Each is individually crafted in fabrics that range from the most luxurious silks and linen – from solids to sequined. The bags are then adorned with a range of exquisite silk flora to the most exotic plumes.

Meet the designer: Evelyn Blanche Heyward grew up in rural Camden, South Carolina, far from the runways of New York, and where fashion was rarely at the forefront. Even so, as a young girl she recognized how color, style, fabric and beautiful accessories impacted her.

A full time working wife and mother raising two young children, the designer found herself yearning for an outlet for her creative ability. Two years ago Blanche, along with her best friend, was shopping for a unique bag to carry. The bags they found were nice but certainly not distinctive. It was at that moment she realized how to channel her creativity...designing an exquisite collection of exceptional handbags for the unique tastes of every woman. You will hear her say, "Darling, anyone can simply get dressed. But until you accessorize, you're basically bare".

Ask to see the Memory Bag, a special offering with pink and green flowers. The Memory Bag was created in memory of Blanche's best friend who died of cancer in 2004. Five percent of proceeds from the Memory Bag will be donated to The American Cancer Society.
